Format | This event is a 36-hole stroke play competition with a cut to the low 40 players and ties after 18 holes. In the event of a tie after 36 holes, there will be a three-hole aggregate playoff immediately following regulation play. In the event of a tie after three holes, the tied players will immediately continue to playoff hole-by-hole until a champion is determined. |
Eligibility | Amateur members of MGA Member Clubs on Long Island, members of the MGA eClub – Long Island or USGA/MGA GC who reside on Long Island, and members of the MGA eClub – New York City or USGA/MGA GC who reside in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, or Manhattan* with an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 4.0 under the USGA Rules of Handicapping.

Carts/Caddies | • This is a walking only event • Players may bring their own caddie. • Players may carry their own bag. • Pull carts will be approved on a course by course basis, please consult the Memorandum to Players. • It is strongly recommended that caddies wear shoes without spikes or tread. • Final information will be provided in the Memorandum to Players, which will be released prior to the event. |
